Park and Protect

Alberta Real Estate License Parking

We’re sorry, but Park and Protect is a Bad Fit for Active Agents

What Can We Say?

Our brokerage model is a bad fit for active agents.  Really, it’s not you… it’s us!  No need to worry because we can still be friends!  Park and Protect does not offer the support and resources that local real estate boards provide.  There really is no way around it, if you want to be successful selling residential real estate full-time you need to be a member of your local board.  Two of the most frequently asked questions we hear are; “how do I access property listings?” and “how do I list properties on the MLS®?”  The answer;  “you don’t have access to those resources so you can’t use them, but you’re not paying for local board fees, provincial, or national association fees either.”

If you’re earning a living by actively listing and selling residential real estate the expenses you incur are simply a cost of doing business.  Joining Park and Protect may save you hundreds of dollars a month, but if you’re a full-time agent, it will likely cost you thousands of dollars to do so.  If you sell full-time and do not belong to your local board, you will not have the tools and resources you need to succeed in this ultra-competitive industry.  Don’t get us wrong, we are working hard to grow our brokerage and our brand but we firmly believe in the adage “Don’t step over dollars to pick up the nickels and dimes!”  If joining Park and Protect will not give you a net benefit you really shouldn’t join!

We completely understand if we’re not the right brokerage for your current situation, but if your relationship status with your current brokerage ever changes, we’ll be right here, waiting for you.  We do not see board member brokerages as competition, in fact, we have solutions for brokerages who want to create goodwill with their former agents.  Needless to say, if you have a colleague or friend who might benefit from our brokerage model please let them know about us!
